Proposals by the federated governing board to restructure the federation into separate infant and junior schools – with Spennithorne Church of England (VC) Primary School becoming an infant school (with an age range of 4-7) and Middleham Church of England (Voluntary Aided) Primary School becoming a junior school (with an age range of 7-11) from September 2026.

As we reach the end of another fantastic year, I want to say a huge thank you to our wonderful children, dedicated staff,
supportive parents, and committed governors. It’s been a year full of learning, laughter, and brilliant memories. I’m so
proud of everything we’ve achieved together. Wishing you all a relaxing, sunny, and well-deserved summer break – see

Summer Show
Costume requirements for our summer show ‘Zoom’ have been sent home this week, if you haven’t received your
information or require support with your child’s costume please get in touch with school. Please continue to support
your child at home as they learn their lines and sing the songs, we are very excited to perform on stage for our friends
and families.
