Dear Parents and Carers,
I can’t quite believe it is the end of September! It has been another busy week in our federation.
On Wednesday, Maple Class had a great time looking for signs of Autumn with Mrs Wheeler and Miss Remmer at Forest
Schools. They kept themselves warm around a lovely camp fire!
It has certainly started to feel like the seasons have turned this week. The children in craft club were adding to the autumnal feeling creating these wonderful Owls.
We continue to think about and pray for King Charles and the Royal family at this difficult time. Just a reminder that school will be closed on Monday 19th September 2022 for the Queen’s Funeral.
Like millions of others, the people in our school communities were sad to hear the news of the death of Her Late Majesty The Queen.
I am delighted to share with you a timetable of clubs that will be happening across our federation during the Autumn Term. We will be running various clubs at lunchtime and after school at each school site. These will change each term, so hopefully there will be something for everyone.
As you may already be aware, the DFE have introduced a new EYFS framework, which commenced from September 2021. At the Federation of Federation of Middleham (VA) and Spennithorne (VC) Primary Schools, we established these changes in the last academic year and our EYFS fully meets the requirements of the framework.
