Mrs Hirst news
What a fantastic week it’s been in school! The classrooms have been buzzing with energy, and it’s been a real joy to see so many happy faces walking around our schools. The children have shown such impressive resilience and enthusiasm in everything they’ve encountered, and the staff and I couldn’t be prouder of them. Thank you, as always, for your continued support. It makes all the difference, and together we’re creating a wonderful environment for our pupils to thrive. Wishing you a restful weekend ahead.

Warm regards,
Mrs Hirst

Cool Milk
Our schools provide milk via the Cool Milk scheme. School milk is free for under-5s, and for over-5s it is available at a subsidised price of 31p per day. The UK government continues to support school milk. Milk for under-5s is fully funded by DHSC via the Nursery Milk Scheme. Milk for over-5s is subsidised by Defra via the School Milk Scheme Each child that registers with Cool Milk will receive a 189ml portion of semi-skimmed milk every day, school milk will not only provide them with essential nutrients, but as it is rehydrating and energy boosting it also bridges the gap between breakfast and lunch to help children stay focused. For more information on how milk can benefit children visit www.coolmilk.com/why-milk-is-great.

Message from Mrs Hirst
As I come to the end of my first week as Headteacher, I would like to say a huge thank you for the warm welcome I have received from our children, staff, parents, and carers. It has been a real joy spending time in classrooms, on the playground, and around the school, and beginning to get to know our incredible pupils. I have already seen how kind, enthusiastic, and hardworking they are, and how much care and dedication our staff bring to school each day. I am really looking forward to getting to know families over the coming weeks and working together to give every child the best possible start to their learning journey. Thank you for making my first week such a positive one—I’m excited for what lies ahead.

Warmest wishes,
Mrs Hirst

Lights Camel Action
A huge well done to all the children for their performance in Lights Camel Action, you have all worked so hard learning your lines, practising your dances and singing all the songs. Thank you to families and friends who came to watch.

Massive thank you to all the school staff for your hard work and dedication to the nativity, from choreographing the dances, to stage decoration and never ending supply of glitter and sparkle, the show was amazing
