School Council
Each class undertook the great responsibility of a democratic vote to elect our newest School Council Leaders. Congratulations to Thomas, Louise, Jack W, Heath, George LJ, Rocco, Piper and Martha. They have already met to discuss lots of school topics including choosing our Christian Values for the next half term; kindness and compassion.

Their first event of the year will be showing support for The Royal British Legion and Remembrance Day, ‘We will have lots of poppy items in school all week for people to choose from at break times’ Suggested donation is £1, if you are able, items include wrist bands, pencils and poppies.

World Mental Health Day
Today we reflected on the importance of good mental health and the need to prioritise and invest in good mental health.

Children spent time engaging in activities that they felt were good for their mental health such as reading a book, dancing, exercising, painting and much more

An update from Mrs Mann
I wanted to let you know that from Monday 29th September, I will be starting my new role at another school. In my
absence, I’m very pleased to share that Mrs Ibbotson has been appointed as Acting Headteacher and will be leading the
school on Mondays. I will still be in school from Tuesday to Friday to support the team and ensure a smooth transition.
The staff and leadership team remain dedicated to providing the best for our children. Thank you, as always, for your
continued support.

Headteacher Recruitment
This week, we welcomed candidates to the school as part of the headteacher recruitment process. Throughout the
visits, there were many positive comments about the children, particularly noting how polite, engaged, and welcoming
they were. It was a real credit to our school community and something we can all be proud of. The governors are
currently finalising the process and will share the outcome with parents and carers as soon as they are able
